The wind (kaze) is all around us. It can be gentle (yasashii) or violent (hageshii).

It is fickle (kimagure) and forceful (tsuyoi). It can be small (chiisai) or enormous (kyoudai).

There is the evening breeze (yuukaze) and the typhoon (taifuu). Sometimes it is windless (mufuu), but the wind always returns.

The wind touches all of us. Is it friend, or foe? Perhaps neither – simply our companion through the ages. – J
